Education is very important to us at Cheeky Monkey Parties, and even though we incorporate some educational activities into our parties... we want to incorporate some of our cheeky educational fun into schools.
We offer unique interactive storytelling workshops, Drama and Dance workshops and creative interactive puppet shows that can fit in well with current teaching programs and syllabus’s.
We are all Professional entertainers from Dance and Drama backgrounds and have been teaching children creatively for the last 8 years! Thats not to mention the amount of parties we do!!!
Our workshops are great for classroom interaction and Team building amongst children is a great way to boost confidence, combat shyness and help with levels of trust.
We deliver exercises to students using different techniques and work through trust and team building games with the aid of music, movement games, circus activities drama and song.
Our storytelling and interactive puppet shows can help students understand the importance of imagination and the use of storytelling without the aid of books to get the story across. This can help with confidence levels when reading aloud within groups or alone.
Its exciting to have guests into the school, especially when its fun and educational... the children will experience a different approach than what they are used to in the classroom... and the classroom teachers and assistants are able to join in and receive a cheeky school pack to continue the fun in between classes.

Our fantastic puppet show structure will wow children and adults alike... creating excitement and fun, we will take the children on a 30 minute adventure...
A magical Performance and a behind the scenes experience, the children will be able to see a puppet demonstration and ask questions to our puppeteers once the performance has taken place.
Our stories range from Educational through to fairytale and can be adapted to suit your preference’s. We also offer adaptions of classic tales.

Storytelling is one of the most ancient art forms, stretching back for as long as humans have had speech. Each person will hear something different as the story is created in the space between the teller and the listener.
Our aim is to take the children on a journey of the imagination.
Our storytellers are both professionally trained performers and teachers for various performance related schools here in the UAE.
Recently we have been working alongside various schools in Abu Dhabi and Dubai by coming into schools and taking short sessions with the children and teachers.
Our storytellers tell a story differently each time they tell it, interacting with their audience, choosing stories and images to communicate with them, sometimes with the aid of music, dance, pictures or puppets.
Our Storytellers may tell traditional folk tales, written tales, anecdotes, urban myths, stories from history, religious or moral tales, stories we have created ourselves or which can been created for a specific event.
Inviting people into school creates a special atmosphere whoever they are. Storytellers provide excitement and stimulation.
It can improve concentration, listening skills and help develop and enrich spoken and written language. It can also help to stimulate the imagination, contributing to Speaking and Listening as well as Creative Writing, Poetry, Drama, Music and Art.
Hearing and retelling traditional tales can provide scaffolding for children’s own imaginative stories, giving the child a variety of frameworks to work from and encouraging a questioning attitude.
We can create excitement and enthusiasm for History, Geography and Religious Studies as well as English language, literature and Drama.
Storytelling can widen the range of children’s emotional, cultural and moral responses.
Our storytellers can teach storytelling skills to pupils, raising their self confidence. This has been proved especially effective with ‘low achievers’. Older children can tell to younger, benefiting both groups by building the self esteem of the older children and providing positive role models to the younger.

Our Cheeky Drama and Dance workshops are fun, active and educational. Blending academics is a natural progression when young children are involved with movement, dance and drama.
Sequencing a combination of movements helps to develop memory and placing your body in various shapes promotes balance and coordination, especially when asked to move from shape to shape as the music changes in tempo and mood.
Problem solving and language development are key ingredients in this workshop. The possibilities for thinking creatively are endless and children love the challenge of learning to move their bodies in a variety of ways, both structured and unstructured.
A developmentally designed movement program will enhance a young child’s ability to learn and grow.
We combine Drama and Dance throughout the duration of the workshop - placing special emphasis on trust, interaction as a group and as individuals, movement games, music and songs.
Our workshops are run by fully trained Professional Dance and Drama teachers here in the UAE. All of our Dance and Drama teachers are all CRB checked and have originated from the UK.
